Sutton Coldfield Engaged Couples: Your Dream Wedding Awaits
With Christmas 2024 just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start planning your special day for 2025 and 2026. As you embark on this exciting journey, the first thing to consider is the type of ceremony that best reflects your unique love story and what is legally available in the UK.
Three Ceremony Options:
- Traditional Religious Ceremony:
- A classic choice, offering a sacred and spiritual beginning to your marriage.
- Exchange vows in a beautiful church, and then all your guests travel to another venue for possibly a meal and celebration at a venue of your choice which does not have to be registered for weddings, as you have had the ceremony in church.
- Civil Ceremony:
- A straightforward and option, perfect for couples who prefer a more secular approach.
- Tie the knot at a registry office, followed by a reception at a venue or not at all if you do not want the celebration part. This could be for very small groups of guests at a quick Registrar ceremony then onto a pub for lunch or dinner or just a party at any type of venue of your choice.
- You can still have an additional personalised celebrant ceremony as well at any venue for a special touch for guests who could not make the registry office.
- Celebrant-Led Ceremony:
- A highly personalized and flexible option, allowing you to create a ceremony that truly reflects your love story.
- Choose a stunning venue like Moor Hall Sutton Coldfield or Moxhull Hall Wishaw, where a qualified celebrant like myself Louise Goode, can craft a unique ceremony tailored to your preferences. These venues are registered to perform Civil Wedding Ceremonies on site, so very convenient as you do not have to move from place to place everything can be performed on site all in one go.
- Added elements can be performed like hand fasting, tie the knot, or a sand ceremony to add a more personal touch.
- Please note for this ceremony you still need to register your marriage at the Registry Office before or after the ceremony.

Why Celebrant-Led Ceremonies Are Gaining Popularity
Celebrant-led ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular for several reasons:
- Personalization: Celebrants can tailor ceremonies to the couple’s specific wishes, incorporating personal stories, readings, and rituals.
- Flexibility: These ceremonies can be held in various locations, from intimate gardens to grand halls, offering couples greater flexibility in choosing their ideal setting.
- Inclusivity: Celebrant-led ceremonies are inclusive of all couples, regardless of their religious beliefs or cultural backgrounds.
- Creativity: Celebrants can incorporate unique elements like handfasting, unity candles, or personalized vows to create a truly memorable experience.
- Stress-Free Planning: Celebrants can guide couples through the planning process, from choosing readings to coordinating with other vendors.
As couples seek to create unique and meaningful wedding ceremonies, celebrant-led options are emerging as a popular choice.
And here is where I come in, I am Louise Goode Celebrant based in Sutton Coldfield, also known as No Ordinary Celebrant because of the highly recommended personalised ceremonies I perform including themed weddings like Peaky Blinders or Pirate.
